Midwest Neurodiversity

About us

Hi there, my name is James, a self-taught and seasoned professional with over 23 years of experience in IT, Information Security, and Cybersecurity. I've always enjoyed being hands-on, diving into challenging environments, and embracing my inner techie—that was the heart of my career for so long. But over the years, I noticed a bigger problem and felt a deeper calling.

While my passion for technology, troubleshooting, and solving complex problems has been a driving force in my life, I've discovered something even more meaningful to me: addressing the need for support among neurodivergent individuals and those struggling with mental health, during this growing mental health crisis. By leveraging the skills and experiences I've gathered over the years, I'm committed to creating a fulfilling and supportive environment where everyone can find the guidance, support, and community they need.

We are a team of professionals who genuinely understand the challenges of neurodiversity and mental health. Our personal experiences span a range of conditions, including ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder), OCD (Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder), ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder), depression, anxiety, and PTSD. Because we've walked similar paths, we empathize with what you're going through.

We recognize that each person thinks differently, feels differently, and encounters unique circumstances. There's no one-size-fits-all approach, and we believe that's something to be celebrated. We also understand how difficult it can be to mask your true self just to fit in and be accepted by society.

Our mission is to make sure your voice is heard. We're here to listen, provide guidance, and support you throughout your journey. We are committed to helping you grow both personally and professionally. Whether you're seeking personal development, aiming to build new skills, or striving for career advancement, we're here to provide the resources, mentorship, and community support you need to achieve your goals.

As a community, we're with you for the long haul. Together, we can create a space where everyone feels accepted and empowered to be their authentic selves, unlocking their full potential in all aspects of life.
